Rectangular graphite electrodes are among the most widely used products within the EDM industry. Ohio Carbon Blank Inc. supplies both custom size precision ground electrodes and saw cut electrodes to inch or metric dimensions. Precision tolerances are typically machined within .0002” (.0051mm) including both squareness and flatness.
Our precision rectangles are available in several grades of graphite materials (see Quick Link). Fine grain lower cost electrodes are available for roughing applications. Super & ultra fine grain materials are available for the most demanding finishing operations.
All rectangular electrodes are 100% visually and dimensionally inspected to ensure that orders are exactly to the requested specifications. Extra protective boxing is provided to minimize the chance of damage. Adhesive labels are applied to each box for content identification.
